The Arvada Police Department used i2 Analyst's Notebook to develop a timeline as part of an investigative report shedding light on a shooting spree at 2 Colorado community religious centers. The shootings resulted in 4 deaths. The Analyst's Notebook timeline reveals events leading up to the shootings and through the aftermath of the incidents. It also illustrates how the investigation identified the shooter and ruled out accomplices.

i2 Analyst's Notebook Makes the Case for Long Sentence in Home Burglaries

In Oregon, a Jackson County Circuit Court judge nearly doubled the prosecutor's recommended sentence of a home burglar with the help of an i2 Analyst's Notebook timeline chronicling the arrest and the burglar's long criminal history. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office used the Analyst's Notebook timeline as a visual aid in arguing for a stiff sentence for Corey Michael Canty, a convicted sex offender and career criminal who committed a series of occupied home burglaries in 2007.
