In Oregon, a Jackson County Circuit Court judge nearly doubled the prosecutor's recommended sentence of a home burglar with the help of an i2 Analyst's Notebook timeline chronicling the arrest and
the burglar's long criminal history. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office used the Analyst's Notebook timeline as a visual aid in arguing for a stiff sentence for Corey Michael Canty, a convicted sex offender and career criminal who committed a series of occupied home burglaries in 2007.
